Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Quit Smoking for Life mobile application (the “App”), published by ZoneSoft S.R.L (“we”, “us”), handles your information. In short: the App does not collect, transmit or share any personal data.

No account, no sign-up

The App does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information such as your name, email address or phone number.

Information stored on your device

To calculate your progress, the App stores the following locally on your device only:

• The date and time you quit smoking
• How many cigarettes you used to smoke per day
• Cigarettes per pack, pack price and currency
• Your chosen language

This information never leaves your device. We have no servers, and we cannot see, access or receive any of it. If you uninstall the App or use the “Start over” option, this data is deleted.

Notifications

With your permission, the App shows a daily local notification at noon with your progress and a motivational message. These notifications are generated entirely on your device. No data is sent to us or to any third party to deliver them.

No analytics, ads or third-party tracking

The App contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and no third-party services that would collect information about you. We do not use cookies.

Children’s privacy

The App is intended for adults who wish to stop smoking. Because it collects no personal data, it does not knowingly gather information from anyone, including children.

Data security

Because your information stays on your device and is never transmitted, it is protected by your device’s own security. We recommend using a device lock (PIN, password or biometrics).

Your rights

You are always in full control of your data. You can view it in the App, change it in Settings, or delete it at any time using “Start over” or by uninstalling the App.

Apps obtained through the Apple App Store

If you download the App from the Apple App Store, your use of the App is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard “Apple EULA”), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Any purchase, payment or refund for the App is handled by Apple in accordance with that agreement and Apple’s own privacy policy; we do not receive your payment details. To the extent of any conflict between this Privacy Policy and the Apple EULA regarding App Store purchases, the Apple EULA governs those purchases.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
